Forest Attrocities

In the silent Canadian forest

Swamp water atrocities are in swing;

Fish eat flies; otters eat fish,

A million things scream

Bloody murder.

The night comes, the carnage continues

Watched over by moon and stars

That commit their own apocalypse.

And we drive by at 100 k/hr.

Concerned over our next gas station

For we are running low.
